Out With The Old, In With The New
As I was leaving home the other morning, the field was filled with robins. There must have been more than 100 robins in the air and on the ground. That to me means Spring is on the way. With Spring comes the promise of new beginnings. It won’t be long before the tulips make their way into view. Old dead leaves will soon be under cover of green foliage and grass. It is nature’s way of saying “out with the old and in with the new” and I look forward to it every year, but more so this year, for many reasons.
As part of my Spring ritual, of course there is the usual deep cleaning of physical space that comes to mind. Cleaning and tidying up though, doesn’t apply to only our physical space. It might also be time for tidying up and purging in other areas of our lives as well. Whether it be organizing electronic files, cultivating and feeding relationships, or purging things we no longer need, I wish you the best in the most endearing Marie Kondo sort of way.
