Accountability Counts
As I rang in 2019, rounding out another decade in this forever hectic and challenging life, I made ZERO New Year Resolutions! “Pie crust promises, easily made, easily broken” (credit Mary Poppins) aren’t for me this year. I decided rather than make several empty promises to myself, I will identify the areas of my life that need work and choose willing and wise accountability partners to help me set goals and implement plans to achieve 2019 objectives. I’m still working on the list but rest assured it is a January priority for me. Understand, there won’t be just ONE accountability partner. I aim to seek out willing family and friends who demonstrate the ability and practice disciplines needed to reach each of my 2019 objectives. I already have my first accountability partner in mind – she will see to it the list of objectives and partners is completed before the February newsletter goes to distribution. Some of you may have guessed who that is but I won’t be sharing names – we will identify her as Accountability Partner #1. Her role: Help keep me focused on the written plan – February 1 due date, because… “You are 42 percent more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down” (credit inc.com article below)
** Please note that our office hours have changed for the Winter season. We will now be open from 8:00am-4:00pm. We look forward to seeing you as usual, please stop in! **
