Summer Fun
Happy Summer! We’ve passed the “longest day of the year” mark and are now losing 1 to 2 minutes of sunshine as each one passes. Don’t let that be your focus; there is still plenty of warm weather ahead of us for “living in the moment” (reference my June newsletter). I’m excited to say I’ve taken my own advice on this one. Being honest – taking my own advice isn’t something I’m always successful at – but making a conscious effort on this one.
My husband and I just returned from our first summer camping trip, or as I like to call it “glamping trip’, with a great group of friends I call family. It was extremely hot but we had so much fun and it was a much needed break for me. Heading off for a retreat this week and have scheduled a family vacation in August that I am really looking forward to. Trying to plan some things and take advantage of every moment during my summer adventures to just be present and enjoy.
I would love to hear about your summer plans and how you are making time and creating opportunities to “live in the moment”. The great thing about putting this newsletter on our blog is it allows us the opportunity to converse in this way. Let me know what you are doing; I’m open to new ideas. Not saying if you tell me you are going skydiving that I’m going to fall in line (or from the sky). Again, being honest, but I do want to hear about your summer adventures none the less.
